Personal


Husband, Kirby Anderson (got married in 2015)...At 19, she won the title of 2000 Miss Rodeo Washington...came up through the ranks of 4-H and FFA showing family raised Hereford and Angus cattle and her senior year was elected to the state FFA office...compete in goat tying, barrel, breakaway roping and poles in junior high and high school...Grew up in Mount Vernon, Wash., then moved to California in 2005 and trained horses until she took a job at West Coast Horseman magazine. Co-founded the West Coast Barrel Racing Association (WCBRA)...Bought OJS Tex Wood from Ozzie and Judy Gillum and she trained the horse for team roping and barrel racing. Started the horse on barrels when he was 7 and he just took to it. He got the name "The Goob" because he is basically a goof ball and got stuck in a golf cart when he was 3 and has the personality of a Golden Retriever...Father is Jim Hinton who runs a construction company.
