Career Highlights

• 2016 - Entered first Wrangler NFR ranked 15th and after a dominating NFR finished as reserve world champion; tied the arena record in the 8th round in a time of 13.37 seconds; placed in all but two rounds winning three rounds and finishing second in the average. Set a new NFR earnings record with $187,692 breaking Sherry Cervi's record of $155,899 in 2013. More than doubled her career earnings at the Wrangler NFR. Moved into the Top 15 with just two weeks left in the season; won the American Royal (Kansas City, Mo.), the Sanders County Fair & PRCA Rodeo (Plains, Mont.), the Omak (Wash.) Stampede, the Missoula (Mont.) Stampede, the Elgin (Ore.) Stampede, the Sisters (Ore.) Rodeo and the Union (Ore.) Rodeo; finished second at the New Mexico State Fair and Rodeo (Albuquerque), the Tri-State Rodeo (Amarillo, Texas) and the Washington State Fair Pro Rodeo (Puyallup, Wash.)
• 2015 - Finished 10th in the WPRA Rookie standings with $13,383; won the Columbia River Circuit Rookie of the Year and was second at the Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo.


Husband, Paul; daughter Keirstin...Operates her own bling tack business - AKM Originals. Also handles all the bookkeeping for the family business Emerald Outdoor Living - business that includes pools, hot tubs, grills, patio furniture and fireplaces...Grew up on a horse competing alongside her parents in o-mok-see (gaming- involves racing in four lanes at once) and gymkhana events. Her father, Bill (74) and mother Sandy Neely (69) still compete as of 2016...Started training and competing in barrel racing futurities around 2000.
