Ground Rules: Format: Two full go-rounds. First go- Friday, April 19th 10:00am (slack, everyone runs). There will be NO first go-round trades. Second go-The top 36 based on the fastest times from the first go-round, will advance to the performances. The top 36 will be placed in the performances slowest to fastest, however each performance will be random competition drawn. Any ties in the top 36 will be broken by the judges. All remaining barrel racers not including the top 36 will run in reverse/flip order of the 1st go-round with all turn-outs and releases taken out, tractor drag to be after every 12 draw positions. Second round will start back one hour after the first go ends. Trades will be permitted in the second go-round, between the performances only. Trades must be completed one (1) hour after first go-round ends and BEFORE the beginning of the second go-round. Random Competition Draw for perfs will be held after trades are closed. Second go round trades allowed perf to perf only. There will be NO trades to Slack. Secretaries discretion whether trade is legal. Barrel Racer may choose to set her run up as allowed in the 2019 WPRA Rule Book, even if the pattern is centered to gate. Contestants may be asked to mingle with VIP's in Rodeo Sky Box. Breakaway Roping (Breakaway Calf Roping)

Ground Rules: Breakaway Turnout/Trade Deadline: April 12 5:00pm MT. Breakaway Co-Approved with Columbia River and Wilderness Circuits. All breakaway ropers run their first go-round Thursday, April 18, 2019 at no earlier than 3:00pm, following the PRCA timed events. The top 24 will progress to the performances, 8 contestants per performance. If a contestant qualifies for the top 24 they must notify the rodeo secretary if they are planning on turning out no later than 1 hour following the 1st round. If a contestant turns out of the second round, will drop to next qualified contestant from the first round. Replacement contestant will fill in turned out contestants spot in order and performance date. If there is a tie for the top 24, the tie breaker will go back to the current WPRA Standings as of 4/18/19. Score line will be the same as the steer wrestling. The top 24 will be held to the performances and will run slowest to fastest. There will be no second go round trades. Contestants may be asked to mingle with VIP's in Rodeo Sky Box. Contestants will be required to sign autographs following the performance on Saturday and Sunday in the arena. Only contestant who is competing is allowed in the arena. Ground Rules: 125 Maximum Entries. Top 32 based on fastest time in the first go-round will advance to a progressive go-round held during the four performances (April 25-28). Will take all cards first then permits. If entries exceed 125 card holders, it will be a random draw. If permits are taken and entries exceed 125, it will be a random draw. One round + progressive top 32 contestants (ties will be broken by the judges) will be placed in performances slowest to fastest then each performance will be random draw after trades. Trade deadline is one hour after the first go ends. There will be 8 contestant outs per performance in the progressive round. Contestants may withdraw from the progressive round by informing secretary no later than 6pm on Tuesday April 23. Should contestant withdraw from progressive round, next best contestant based on average will fill the spot. There will be no preparation, re-work, or raking during the competition. Will hand rake after each run in the performances. Contestants with horses must check in with the secretary and present current required Texas Animal Health Commission documents. Each contestant must complete and sign a Rodeo Corpus Christi Release of Liability, Indemnity and Background Check Agreement and present it to the secretary prior to her first competition. Each contestant will be furnished with a Rodeo Corpus Christi back number, which must be worn or displayed in its entirety at all times when in the Competition Arena. Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. PRCA/WPRA members who are not entered will not be given free admission, nor may they enter any area restricted only to contestants without proper credentials. No family members (including children), guests, escorts, etc. will be allowed in chute or Arena areas. The first go-round will be held at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds (1213 Terry Shamsie Blvd., Robstown, TX 78380). The Progressive Rounds will be held at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi. No dogs will be allowed on the grounds, with the exception of contract acts. Contestants must enter facilities via Chaparral St., North of IH 37. Turn left on to Chaparral from IH 37 South. Go 4 blocks to Fitzgerald. Contestant lot I on the left. Appearances, Press and Media: Contestants agree to be available to Rodeo Corpus Christi staff for media interviews during the days/evenings that they are participating in a performance. Limited to 70 Contestants- 49 will be selected from 2019 Pro Rodeo Standings based on winnings seven days prior to entry closing; 21 will be selected from 2019 California Pro Rodeo Circuit Standings based on winnings seven days prior to entry closing; Prize money won will count for CA Circuit Standings and as a CA Circuit Rodeo. The 30-hour replacement policy will be in effect. All contestants will enter arena through the center gate on the west end of arena directly south of the timed event chute and exit through the gate on the northwest corner of the arena. Primary slack parking for Thursday, April 25th, 2019, will be the rodeo grounds main parking lot at 12584 Mapleview Street (no trailer clean-outs at this area). One trailer and vehicle per contestant only. All contestants will vacate this parking area no later than 3:30pm, on Friday, April 26th, 2019 and move to the primary contestant parking area at El Capitan High School (Rule #1). Overflow parking for slack to be at Bobby Sox Ball Field parking lot, 10610 Ashwood Street, adjacent to the high school, until 3:00pm, Friday, April 26th, 2019.
