FIREWATER TA FAME

Billy & Shelly Martin are excited to announce that Kay Blandford’s great mare Talents Dark Angel was bred to Firewater Ta Fame this season. Kim Nichols bought an embryo from Kay and bred her to Stitch. When they flushed the mare, they got 2 embryo's. Kay is selling the other as she doesn't do the baby thing. Stitch was also bred to Shali Lord's mare last year and the Martin’s were just found informed that mare had a colt. According to Shelly, Stitch will be back barrel racing soon with Andrea Cline-Herron at the conclusion of the breeding season. “Before he came home for breeding, she ran him at the San Angelo deal and qualified back. She couldn't find a trade so she had to draw out. She thinks he will do well in the rodeo pen and we are excited,” added Shelly. The Martin’s recently rescued A American Rose, who banked more than $60K in barrel earnings. The mare was seriously malnourished and is currently being given the TLC she deserves to bring her back to health. She will be included in Firewater Ta Fame’s book in 2010.
