Ground Rules: Barrel race will be one run for everyone, with a progressive second run and short go. The number of entries will determine how many are taken to the second round. Only card members are allowed to enter, permits not accepted. Example: There are 29 performances plus the finals performance.
If there are 200 entered, the first go will be run in the first 20 performances and the top 90 fastest times from the first go will get a second run in performances 21 through 29. The top twelve in the average on the first two runs will run in the short go (finals.) Splits not to exceed 12 per rule book. Second Round Trades: Preferences for the second go must be given to the rodeo secretary following your first run. Preferences must be in rodeo office by the end of the performance that you run in for your first run. If your preference is not in office by deadline you will be given a no-preference draw.145 or less entered will be two runs back to back and a short go. 290 and over entered will be one run and a short go.Bring Your Bling!!! The Ft. Worth committee has ask that you dress in your bling. All contestants- Enter the grounds via Burnett-Tandy and proceed to Rip Johnson Drive . Unload horses and tack in stalls provided. Trailers must be moved immediately to the trailer parking lot. Trailer parking lot is secured 24 hours a day. Any trailer unhooked from vehicle within the show grounds will be towed at owner's expense. Vehicles will park in lot 6 on coliseum grounds and contestants will be provided a parking permit. All contestants must sign a release of liability provided by the rodeo Secretary before competing. Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access.Must have current coggins test and health papers and must meet current Texas Animal Health regulations to enter Stock Show Grounds.
