Anyone completing the pattern at a walk or trot or circling a barrel more than one time will be subject to a $100 fine. Friends and families of contestants are not allowed to enter the arena at any time. Arena should be clear of non-competing contestants at all times. Any contestant(s) who does/do not abide by there rules will be fined $100. When a contestant is finished competing she should exit the arena. Contestant may receive one (1) helper pass. Helper must display pass at all times when in the warm-up area or behind the chutes. Helper will abide by same ground rules as contestant. Contestant will be liable for helper. All helpers and contestant must sign a release to receive a helper pass. Only actual contestant and one companion is allowed gate access. Contestant parking will be for contestants only. All WPRA cards will be granted ground access only, Not a seat ticket. Each contestant will be furnished with a back number at the time of check-in (located in trailer in contestant parking area.) Number must be worn and displayed in the entirety at all times when in the competitor arena including wrap up area. Failure to wear back number will result in a fine of $100. No contestant will receive a back number until all waivers/releases are signed. Any contestant wearing another contestants number will be fined $100. All contestants will horses must have proof of current coggins and health papers. No Exceptions. All stalls will be available to contestant at $20.00/night or $60.00 January 17-27 beginning January 16. Qualifications will be as follow 16 will be selected from the 2013 pro rodeo standings based on winnings seven days prior to entry closing. 144 will be selected from the 2012 pro rodeo standings. 4 will be selected from the 2013 WPRA/PRCA Texas Circuit Standings based on winnings seven days prior to entry closing.. 36 will be selected from the 2012 WPRA/PRCA Texas Circuit Standings. Format will be One Round +Progressive. 1 go round with top 90 to progressive round and a short go (top 12). First go will be run in performances 1-20 and the progressive round in performances 21-29 with 10 per performance. Short go will be top 12 in average run in performance 30. Each contestant qualifying for the progressive round will leave two preferences for their 2nd go. Priority preference list will be fastest to slowest with the fastest time in go 1 having the highest priority. 2nd go preference deadline is the end of the 1st go. May change your preference until the end of the first go round. If less than 200 entries, 1 go with progressive top 90 116-145: 2 go rounds back to back. If less than 116 may be 3 go rounds. 30 hour replacement policy will be effect.
