There was a logjam at the top of the leaderboard with three ladies stopping the clock in 1.9 seconds. Amanda Hodges, Kayla Graham and previous NFBR qualifier Cadee Williams picked up $1,873 each for the victory. Jordi Edens, now a mom and previous NFBR qualifier finished second in a time of 2.1 seconds.

There is also a permit only breakaway event this weekend at the WPRA World Finals. These ladies are looking to win at least $1,000 to fill their permit and become a card holding member for the 2025 season. Winning the first round on Thursday was Macy Hoggett and Chalee Harms in a time of 2.6 seconds with both adding $784 to their WPRA permit earnings. Another good showing on Friday and they will be looking for that coveted card.

Second round action will begin at 1 p.m. CT on Friday with slack followed by the performance at 7 p.m. All roping action is being live streamed at www.wpra.com.

Barrel racing action will kick the day off on Friday at 8 a.m. CT with the Derby and Futurity division followed by permit only race and the card holder race. All action will be live streamed. Visit  HYPERLINK “https://wpra.com” www.wpra.com for the link.
