Junior Barrel Program

General Information

The WPRA is proud to have a junior barrel program in which young ladies, 17 and under are prepared to enter the barrel racing and rodeo world. Junior barrel members are an important part of the association and are the future of World Championship Barrel Racing.

There are many opportunities for junior barrel members such as an invitation to the WPRA World Finals in Waco, TX in October where the Junior Barrel Champion is crowned every year. At the circuit level, members can compete in WPRA Co-approved Divisional Circuit Jackpots and at the end of the year Junior Barrel Champions in each circuit are awarded a buckle! With a junior barrel membership you can also compete in the Futurity/ Derby Division as well as the Pro Elite Sire Incentive Program.
