LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Six rounds complete at the 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo presented by Teton Ridge in Las Vegas, Nevada, and there have been two horses taking all the money. Hailey Kinsel and DM Sissy Hayday “Sister” dominated the first three rounds in times of 13.38, 13.48 and 13.48. Since then, all headlines have been Kassie Mowry and Force The Goodbye “Jarvis” in times of 13.43, 13.43 and they blew the doors off the Thomas and Mack on Monday night with a 13.25-second run.

“That horse continues to leave me speechless as there are no words left for this horse, his runs speak for themselves,” stated Mowry. “I feel like I am asking so much of him, and he is not backing down one bit. I just commend him as this is tough and he is giving it everything he has.”

In 2023, Mowry and Jarvis won the eighth and ninth rounds running the fastest time of last year’s NFR in the eighth when they stopped the clock in 13.30 seconds. Last year served as a warm-up for this year and it was something the late Michael Boone knew when he told his fiancé Mowry that Jarvis deserved another shot at the NFR. More runs like tonight and they will be standing on the world champion stage on Saturday.

“I am just staying out of his way, and he is just handling it like a pro,” said a very proud Mowry of her 6-year-old gelding. “He doesn’t have as much experience as a lot of them do but he has youth on his side so that helps. He is so full of energy. I am just keeping the routine the same, it is working so we are sticking with it.”
